Used the last large piece of red roses on blue background, Summer House fabric, and surrounded it with some Hoopla. I have a few scraps of Summer House left, maybe enough for a small orphan square.
See how those cute Hoopla wavy blue and lime green lines play with the eyes :D

The top is about 60"x72". Used a jelly roll, a charm pack and a little over half a yard of fabric. Working on a back and binding. Definitely a busy, happy quilt for a girl.

It came in the mail today! The picture doesn't do it justice. It's beautifully quilted! Pretty fall colors. I see this as a wall hanging in my home. Sandy also sent some candy, a Christmas towel and Christmas socks. I was starved when I opened the box and wolfed down some candy before I remembered I wanted to take a picture for my blog. See the wrapper in the picture. YUM.
Thank you, Sandy!!!
Please visit Sandy's blog and see pictures of all her lovely quilts :D

The back was pieced using some left over pieces of Hoopla. Then I quilted it free motion style before adding a green binding. It's about 60"x70". Then into the washing machine and dryer to give it a soft crinkled look. Hopefully I'll have a grandchild that will like it :D
Thank you for holding Hoopla Quilt for photographs, Mother.

Today Tonya's son chose fun fabrics for this quilt and another. We had decided to make a couple quilts for little boys. This is a picture of a strip quilt with trucks, planes, and fire trucks. We almost finished a second quilt. I just need to sew on the binding. It's zoo animals, dinosaurs, apples, pears and strips. We had a good time!!!

Finally a finish. And just in time. Tomorrow is a "Linus Project Sew In" in Wilkes. I'm so excited. It will be good to see Tonya and her family again.
Tonya gave me the Thomas the Train panel as I walked out the door after our last sew in. I used some Thomas the Train flannel I had in my stash for the backing. The whimsical binding came from my stash also. It's all washed, dried, folded and ready for tomorrow. Yah!
