Scrappy Yellow Blocks

Three FUN 16 patch blocks of yellow scraps. They look happy. Tori finished her pink camouflage strip quilt top. It's ready for some batting and backing. She sewed all the strips together herself. Her sister, Hannah, is working on the blocks for her quilt top made with Amelia fabrics by Me and My Sisters. We should have a picture soon. Tori and Hannah are very good with color selections and sewing. I'm proud of these two cute new quilters.

Wow, I see some yellows that are in my scrap bin! Ah, gotta love those young quilters. Congratulations on the Jelly Roll win - I will remind you to put that blue one in for the next one.

Sunshine incorporated! I can't wait to see the quilt.
What wonderful memories you are giving your granddaughters.(I am so jealous!) I remember sitting next to my grandma while she taught me to sew. And when I messed up, she did the wayward stitch removal, bless her.
Hugs!

I think Tori is using the same machine I have! So nice to see a young one sewing. I'm starting to teach my 2 daughters the basics (ages 5 and 8) and they can't seem to get enough. They select fabrics I would never think to put together and they come out looking beautiful.

I love your yellow blocks!

I hope she keeps that quilt until she's grown. When she turns into a teen and wants to get rid of her childhood mementos because she's "all grown", sneak that quilt out of her room!
